Transnational education partnerships

Our global Transnational Education (TNE) partners work with us to deliver Sheffield Hallam degrees in-country. These collaborations expand access to higher education and create high-impact, locally delivered learning experiences that meet the academic standards of UK-based courses.

Our TNE partners

 

Botswana Accountancy College (BAC), Botswana

to deliver selected undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in business and finance. BAC graduates with relevant diplomas can progress to level 6 of our degree programmes. 

This partnership supports local progression routes and gives students access to UK-validated qualifications while studying in Botswana.

INTI International University, Malaysia

to deliver our undergraduate degrees in:

Courses are taught at INTI by qualified staff and the awards are validated by Sheffield Hallam.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), Ukraine

through the UUKi/Cormack twinning initiative to support Ukrainian students and academics. Activities include summer schools, access to online PhD resources and joint curriculum development.

This collaboration provides vital continuity in education during conflict and reflects our commitment to international solidarity and academic support.

La Trobe University, Australia

We have focused on joint programmes, student exchange and collaborative research. Together, we’ve launched the Global Security and Society Institute; a new research institute to address global concerns such as cybercrime, modern slavery and the growth of artificial intelligence.

This partnership broadens our international impact and offers students enriched global learning opportunities.

Munich Business School, Germany

We deliver the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme in partnership with . The programme is designed for experienced professionals pursuing advanced research and leadership development alongside their career.

School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE), SAR Hong Kong

to deliver selected top-up honours degrees in business management, hospitality, tourism, sport coaching and jewellery, materials and design. Courses are taught at SHAPE by our visiting academics and approved local tutors, with awards validated by Sheffield Hallam.

Sino-British College (SBC), China

We offer a 4+0 business management degree in . Students complete the full programme in China, with the option to transfer to the UK at Level 5 or Level 6.

Our partnership with SBC also includes a 2+2 route. Students complete NCUK Level 3 and 4 programmes at SBC before progressing to Sheffield Hallam for the final two years of study in the UK, choosing from a wide range of subject areas.

Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM), Croatia

to deliver the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme for professionals aiming to enhance their academic and leadership capabilities. The course is designed to be completed alongside existing work commitments.
