馃拤 Vaccinations for Placement
Once you’re medically cleared, you’ll be invited to a vaccination appointment to receive the required immunisations for your placement.
馃搵 Why Vaccines Are Needed
All professional health students must follow Department of Health (DoH) guidelines.
Vaccines are required to:
- 鉁 Protect you and service users
- 鉁 Meet placement provider requirements
- 鉁 Ensure you’re eligible to attend placement
馃彞 Where & When
Vaccinations are provided by our Occupational Health provider at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Appointments take place on-site at .
馃搮 You must meet the required vaccine levels at least 6 weeks before your placement starts.
铃 Immunisation Deadline
You must have full immunisation clearance by the end of your first year.
鈿狅笍 Failure to do so may delay re-enrolment and progression.
