Entry requirements for Iraq

This page outlines the qualifications we accept from Iraq, and the general grades you will need. Some courses have different requirements, so check your course page carefully before you apply.

Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ courses

  • A-levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) at good grades. Please refer to our course pages for the correct UCAS tariff
  • Applicants with a Certificate of Preparatory Education / Secondary School Certificate to be considered for entry onto an International Foundation Programme
  • Applicants with a Certificate of Vocational Preparatory Education to be considered for entry onto an International Foundation Programme
  • Applicants with a Technical Diploma would be considered for entry onto Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ programmes

If you do not meet the academic and English entry requirements for direct entry to an undergraduate degree you can consider studying our International Foundation Programme.

Postgraduate taught courses

  • Applicants with a Higher Diploma will be considered for entry onto programmes at postgraduate level
  • Applicants with a Bachelor degree will be considered for entry onto programmes at postgraduate level

Postgraduate research

  • applicants with a Masters degree, from a recognised university, including a formal research proposal would be considered for PhD research study
