This project aimed to understand the level of inclusion and representation of people from Black and minority ethnic (BME) background in the children’s literature sector. The research engaged with organisations and individuals across the sector to explore their perceptions of the barriers and enablers to achieving greater diversity.

The project team also included Cathy Burnett and Bernie Stiell (Ï㽶ÊÓƵ).
