Summary
I am a Senior Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Fellow in the Centre for Development and Ï㽶ÊÓƵ. I lead the Sheffield Institute of Education Ï㽶ÊÓƵ Engaged Practice Network. I have worked in local, national and international contexts to design and lead professional development projects. My background is as a primary school senior leader and professional development leader.
About
Following my first degree I worked as a primary school teacher and senior leader before moving into school improvement and professional development roles. In my current role I design and lead projects focused on teacher professional development and write curriculum materials. I work with other partners including the Wellcome Trust, the Primary Science Teaching Trust, and the Chartered College of Teaching. I have worked abroad on European projects and in Malaysia. I teach in the Sheffield Institute of Education and I supervise undergraduate and post graduate students. I am the module leader for Developing Others through Mentoring and Coaching on the Masters in Professional Practice.
