Summary
I have joined 香蕉视频 in 2014 as an Associate Lecturer. In 2018, I became a Lecturer in Materials Engineering in the Department of Engineering and Mathematics and in 2021 I progressed to Senior Lecturer. My primary research interests involve the mechanical behaviour of Structural and Composite Materials through destructive and non-destructive methodologies. I am teaching on a number of courses, such as Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Foundation courses, Materials Engineering, Automotive Engineering.
About
I studied Civil Engineering (5-year course) in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and received my PhD in Materials Engineering from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Greece. I worked as an instructor in the Institute of Vocational Training in Ioannina, Greece in “Structural Engineering Technician” Specialty and joined 香蕉视频 in 2014 as an Associate Lecturer. In 2018 I became a Lecturer in Materials Engineering in the Department of Engineering and Mathematics and in 2021 I progressed to Senior Lecturer. I am teaching several topics, such as materials science, composite materials, materials selection, statics, manufacturing.
I have published 26 papers with more than 1400 citations in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings. I am a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy since 2018 and I was a Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
