Andy Pollard

Summary
Andy is a practising curator and has staged exhibitions all over the UK, including Yorkshire and St Ives in Cornwall. He was previously course leader of BA (Hons) Arts Management and has taught on several Masters awards.
About
After graduating from Sheffield Hallam with a BA in Art History and an MA in Cultural Policy and Management, Andy ran Rotherham Art Gallery for a year before working for the Arts Council-funded Creative Partnerships project where he helped forge relationships between artists and teachers to improve creative learning practices in schools.
He ran a commercial gallery specialising in Cornish painting, print-making and ceramics for four years and currently tours freelance exhibitions of Cornish art.
During his research in the field of non-western culture, he has worked with South Yorkshire museums to present community-driven exhibitions including the Ferham Families project investigating British Asian cultural heritage held in Rotherham. He has presented at UK conferences and co-written papers.
